The x402 package is experimental. It is useful when an autonomous agent needs paid enriched merchant data without binding OCG to one facilitator.
- Expose a free search endpoint for public-good projections.
- Expose a paid enriched endpoint for PII-filtered records and readiness reports.
- Put any facilitator behind the verifier interface.
- Keep the development bypass disabled in production, regardless of headers.
- Filter strict payment fields before returning paid responses.
Pin exact versions in production. Expect breaking changes between minor releases until the experimental marker is removed by RFC.
