Content Hashing

What goes into the content hash, what stays out, and why the split protects privacy and attestations.

The content hash is a lowercase hex SHA-256 over the canonicalized bytes of the record fields that describe business content.

Included fields cover identity, locations, categories, services, proof status, and Solana profile. Excluded fields include lifecycle metadata, metadata.updatedAt, metadata.contentHash, externalAttestations, and the open extensions namespace.

The hash goes on chain. The full record stays off chain. That is the anchor pattern.
